Kia has teased the launch of the all-new K8, showcasing a futuristic design that hints at what’s to come. On Monday, the 29th, Kia released teaser images and a video for ‘The New K8,’ a refreshed model of the K8 that has been enhanced with improved features.
First introduced in April 2021, the K8 marked a new direction for Kia, featuring innovative design, stable driving performance, and advanced driver assistance systems. This model has been well-received, with over 130,000 units sold in the South Korean market as of June 2023.
The teaser images partially reveal the front and rear designs of The New K8, focusing on its advanced lighting features. Notably, the front of the vehicle incorporates Kia’s new family look with the ‘Star Map Signature Lighting,’ featuring daytime running lights (DRL) and a center positioning lamp that stretches across the upper bumper, creating a sleek and sophisticated appearance.
In the teaser video, which is also available on Kia’s official YouTube channel, viewers can see the transformation of star-like shapes in the night sky into the K8’s vertical headlamps, offering a glimpse of the new design language.
Kia plans to unveil more detailed information about The New K8, including its upgraded design, specifications, and pricing, later in August. Stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches.
